Legal Advisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with designers, collaborators, suppliers, sponsors, and talent
  Provide legal counsel on intellectual property, trademarks, copyrights, and licensing
• Advise on international business practices and regulatory compliance in the fashion and luxury sectors
• Review employment agreements, NDAs, partnership MOUs, and brand collaborations
• Mitigate risks by ensuring all operations meet legal and ethical standards
• Support with legal matters related to fashion shows, content distribution, digital media, and e-commerce
• Represent the brand’s interests in legal communications and disputes where necessary
• Stay up-to-date on legal trends in the fashion, creative, and business industries
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Law degree from an accredited university; active legal license required
• 5+ years of experience advising fashion, media, or luxury companies
• Strong expertise in contract law, IP protection, and international business law
• Detail-oriented with strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Discretion, integrity, and the ability to operate with confidentiality at all times
• Knowledge of African and global markets is a strong advantage
• Experience working with fast-paced, creative-driven brands is a plus
