Dramaturge

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the creative director to interpret and articulate the core themes of the fashion collection into a dramatic narrative or performance structure.
• Develop a scripted or scenographic arc for the show: monologues, voiceovers, transitions, mood shifts.
• Provide historical, cultural, or poetic research that deepens the conceptual integrity of the show.
• Collaborate with stylists, set designers, performers, and the sound team to maintain a cohesive emotional thread.
• Attend rehearsals and run-throughs, adjusting narrative timing and performance elements as needed.
• Help shape the overall intellectual and emotional experience for the audience — blending theatre and fashion in one living story.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Background in theatre, creative writing, performance art, or film storytelling.
• Strong grasp of narrative structure, symbolism, and emotional pacing.
• Experience in devising or directing stage performances, installations, or immersive events.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Visionary mindset that understands fashion as a narrative tool.
