Casting Director

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the casting process for all fashion presentations, campaigns, and runway shows
• Collaborate with the creative and styling teams to understand the vision and develop casting briefs
• Scout and curate a diverse, powerful group of models that represent the ethos of each collection
• Organize casting calls, fittings, and rehearsals (both online and in person where needed)
• Liaise with modeling agencies, freelance talents, and representatives
• Ensure inclusivity, originality, and alignment with ASHUNTER’s values in all casting decisions
• Coordinate all model logistics: contracts, schedules, rehearsals, and show day organization
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a casting director or casting assistant in fashion, film, or related industries
• Strong network of agencies, scouts, and freelance models (Africa + internationally is a bonus)
• Deep understanding of beauty standards, body diversity, and representation in fashion
• Strong communication and leadership skills; able to give clear feedback and maintain professionalism
• Creative thinker with a sharp visual eye and emotional intelligence
• Organized and capable of managing tight deadlines and fast-paced casting schedules
• Passion for fashion, identity, and human storytelling
